Takashi,
While I have your attention, is there a way to adjust the max volume?
Currently it seems to low. Lower than with the old kernel I believe.
I've tried a couple variations of;
hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D2 0x24 SET_VOLUME_KNOB 0xff
hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D2 0x24 SET_VOLUME_KNOB 0x7f
hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D2 0x24 SET_VOLUME_KNOB 0x3f
hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D2 0x24 SET_VOLUME_KNOB 0x1f
None seem to be as loud as it was, but I have not gone back to the old kernel
to test that. Specifically I use my machine to listen to office voicemails and
I find it much more difficult to hear my recent messages than it was. Clearly
that could just be my recent callers have not talked very loud.
Thanks
Greg
