Scenario 1:

Provide a one click install that registers packman repo and requires
"libxine-packman" (this is something we should do even for 11.1 btw)

Scenario 2 is more difficult I agree. And users doing such a thing I would
indeed recommend to switch zypp.conf defaults. But I'm not convinced it should
be the default - not yet ;(
