I used the LiveCD ( KDE4), the iso was copied to flash disk using dd command in Ubuntu. On booting, error message, "isolinux.bin is missing or corrupted" error is shown. The flash disk is capable of booting, as I have booted other distros from the flash disk Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot into Ubuntu Linux, 9.04 2. copy the iso using the command dd if=image.iso of=/dev/sdc1 bs=4M 3. Reboot off the USB flash disk Actual Results: Error message is flash "isolinux.bin is missing or corrupted" and proceeds to boot off the hard disk, instead of the USB flash device Expected Results: openSUSE 11.2 RC should have booted off the flash disk I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1520, Intel Core 2 Duo 1.5GHz, 2 GB RAM & nVidia 8600m GT. BIOS Is a Dell, version A03.
