Ricardo, I just tried yast from SVN and it is *much* better! :-)
At this point, it is quite usable, because after you click the "Install"
button, you just have to click "Apply" to get a confirmation window and go on
with your package installs (no more "Sure?" button or forced use of the "Undo"
tab). Also, the "Install" button desensitizes after you click it, reducing a
lot of the previous confusion.
I still think that reverting the Undo tab to a sidebar would be beneficial, and
I *think* I agree about reverting the action-oriented labels for the tabs.
Certainly if the "Undo" tab stays, I think a name like "Pending Changes" would
work better, so maybe verb->noun applies to the rest of the tabs, too.
I really appreciate your rapid response to these issues, Richard. I got SVN so
I could send some patches, but at this point it seems like things are in a
pretty good state, and it seems like you have the rest of the issues under
control. Do ping me if you need to offload any of this work. I'll make sure
to keep trying your changes as they happen.
