You mean manually rename it to raw when using imagewriter, that defeats the
purpose of imagewriter GUI, anyone who can rename files can easily use dd :)

Why manually rename it when imagewriter can create usb stick without that
manual step.

May be a notice can be included somewhere saying you need a new "Hybrid" iso
image, not just ordinary iso image.
