http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=546852 Summary: webYaST UI: ip address configuration mode in network module Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: WebYaST AssignedTo: rlihm@novell.com ReportedBy: mschmidkunz@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- When configuring the IP address in network module it would make sense to use "manually" instead of "static" and "automatically" instead of "dhcp". It would be nice to show the user only relevant input fields. That would mean that IP address and subnet mask should be displayed only when the user can edit them. Another way would be to display them all the time and to make them only editable when manual option is selected. What do you think? @mzugec: * What is it about the empty entry in the combo box where the user can choose the configuration mode? Does it have any functionality * What does "Prefixlen" mean? Is it something like "Subnet mask"? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
