Summary: default style deosn't show some control buttons
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.2
Version: Factory
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Usability
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: dutchkind@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; nl; rv:1.9.1.3)
Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-1.3 Firefox/3.5.3
With opensuse 11.2 KDE4 live cd installation the default style seems to be
oxygen. The default GTK style under KDE is undefined. This results in that some
buttons are not visible. For example, in firefox and thunderbird up and down
arrows from the scroll bar are not visible, which makes it difficult on some
very large pages with a resulting very small srollbar button to scroll up and
down.
But worse is that with these default styles other GUI elements are not visible.
If you want to save a document in openoffice writer, you can see 3 check boxes
below the name and filter entry boxes but no text behind them so you don't know
what they are actually for. Changing to some other style and/or assign a GTK
style solves this problem.
Another problem is with the Plastik style. When you select this one all the
items in the configuration panel need a double click to enter it instead of the
normal single click like with the other styles.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
