If I do not use kerberos at all but have the krb5 package with libs installed
on my system.

I have now added automatically to my $PATH variable:
/usr/lib/mit/bin:/usr/lib/mit/sbin - and those directories are empty in the
krb5 package.

I suggest to move the profile.d files elsewhere
