If I load the driver manually the soundcard works. I also cannot add the soundcar manually using "yast2 sound". As far as I see, YaST simply doesn't know about card and/or driver. The file /usr/share/YaST2/data/sndcards.ycp states: /* this file is automatically generated for kernel version 2.6.27.4-2-pae*/ Probably it is just a matter of regenerating this file.
