Summary: Failed to add user on encrypted drive
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.2
Version: Factory
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Installation
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: initialZero@xxxxxxxxx
QAContact: jsrain@xxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3)
Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-1.3 Firefox/3.5.3
Just installed openSUSE 11.2 on x86_64 from KDE-Live install. Everything worked
fine with the partitioner and the encrypted home directory. But, after the
reboot and setup tried to add the user it all failed. The partition did not
mount even though I entered the password successfully on the reboot. Sorry I
don't have the exact message that was given on the failure. What's strange is
that the home partition was mounted.
Reproducible: Always
