I've tested KDE4 live CD. Keyboard shortcuts in KDE applications (e.g. Ctrl+O
in KWrite) don't work.

setxkbmap -print says:

xkb_keymap {
        xkb_keycodes  { include "evdev+aliases(qwerty)" };
        xkb_types     { include "complete"      };
        xkb_compat    { include "complete+ledscroll(group_lock)"        };
        xkb_symbols   { include
"pc+ru(winkeys)+us:2+inet(evdev)+group(ctrl_shift_toggle)"      };
        xkb_geometry  { include "microsoft(natural)"    };
};

it should be "...us+ru(winkeys)...", not "...ru(winkeys)+us..."
