http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=543813 Summary: No man page or info file available on livecd Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Live Medium AssignedTo: coolo@novell.com ReportedBy: vuntz@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- If you look at the man directories or /usr/share/info, it's empty (except for a few files). This happens on the GNOME livecd (at least), and of course when installing it. Quoting irc: 17:23 < coolo> vuntz: rpm -V strace says it's all fine, but man1 only has ftp.1 17:23 < coolo> (not owned by any package) 17:26 < coolo> rpm -V only looks at the binaries 17:28 < coolo> vuntz: please file a bug report so we don't forget that issue. 17:29 < coolo> (unless you plan to debug and fix it right away) 17:29 < prusnak> coolo: are you sure? rpm -Vv rpm suggest otherwise (that all files are checked) 17:30 < vuntz> coolo: I'm on more visible issues at the moment, unfortunately 17:31 < coolo> at least it's not gnome specific - just checked :) 17:32 < coolo> prusnak: rpm -V strace -> no output 17:32 < coolo> rpm -Vv strace gives a d at the files missing 17:33 < coolo> which makes me believe someone/something started to call rpm with no-docs 17:33 < coolo> --excludedocs -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
