--- Comment #7 from Rastislav Krupansky
From your xdpyinfo: resolution: 201x168 dots per inch that is really big.
Workaround would be to set in xorg.conf Section "Monitor" Option "DPI" "90x90"
which will give relative large and readable characters at 1650x1080, even square and circle will look like itself :)
What is resolution from xdpyinfo before you switch to 1650x1080 ?
It seems if i choose in bootloader any other resolution, still is booted 800x600. screen #0: print screen: no dimensions: 800x600 pixels (212x159 millimeters) resolution: 96x96 dots per inch depths (7): 24, 1, 4, 8, 15, 16, 32 root window id: 0xfc depth of root window: 24 planes number of colormaps: minimum 1, maximum 1 default colormap: 0x20 default number of colormap cells: 256 preallocated pixels: black 0, white 16777215 options: backing-store NO, save-unders NO largest cursor: 64x64 Here is output after changing from 800x600 to 1024x768 print screen: no dimensions: 1024x768 pixels (212x159 millimeters) resolution: 123x123 dots per inch depths (7): 24, 1, 4, 8, 15, 16, 32 root window id: 0xfc depth of root window: 24 planes number of colormaps: minimum 1, maximum 1 default colormap: 0x20 default number of colormap cells: 256 preallocated pixels: black 0, white 16777215 options: backing-store NO, save-unders NO largest cursor: 64x64 and 1280x1024 screen #0: print screen: no dimensions: 1280x1024 pixels (212x159 millimeters) resolution: 153x164 dots per inch depths (7): 24, 1, 4, 8, 15, 16, 32 root window id: 0xfc depth of root window: 24 planes number of colormaps: minimum 1, maximum 1 default colormap: 0x20 default number of colormap cells: 256 preallocated pixels: black 0, white 16777215 options: backing-store NO, save-unders NO largest cursor: 64x64 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
