The openSYSE 11.2 MS7 is installed in root filesystem on a logical partition. Other two filesytems were also created /boot (primary partition) and /home (logical partition). All filesystems were formatted as EXT4 during the installation. Besides time set in future, the /boot and /home filesystems were created clean. After running fsck offline, the root filesystem is cleaned and system boots. However, next boot is again unsuccessful due to Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSUSE 11.2 MS7 in a newly formatted EXT4 logical partition 2. reboot Actual Results: During system boot lots of errors related to "read-only filesystem" are displayed. The system boots into a login text line. Expected Results: Boot normally from a clean filesystem.
