http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=537847 Summary: dual head config made by Yast is not recognized by KDE4.3.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- It can be Yast bug or KDE4.3.1 bug, I cannot tell so I start from Yast. I erased xorg.conf completely, created one from scratch (see attachment) for dual-head display config. After restarting, KDE sees that there are two monitors, it displays correctly the info about connections but it refuses to let me configure the desktops in multi monitor mode because my config does not apply (according to KDE). So despite I set dual-head mode (xinerama) I am stuck with clone mode. Dell Latitude E6500, external monitor connected via DisplayPort. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
