http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=535940 Summary: Darker screen after back from powersaving black screen Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: uli.2001@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- When I don't work on my Thinkpad T60 laptop, the screen goes black after a few minutes (correctly by KDE4's powersaving settings, using profile "performance"). When I move the mouse again, the desktop reappears. However, it is very dark, even though the powersaving applet shows that screen brightness is at the maximum. Pressing Fn+Home (my Thinkpad's key combination for making the screen brighter), the screen is immediately back at maximum brightness. Note that in the "performance" profile of my energy settings, I don't use the option to make the screen darker after a few minutes of no usage. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
