I'm reopening this.
Blocking the main window until the module is closed can be considered a feature
(however, I wouldn't expect that behaviour).
But the main window should continue refreshing: if you move the module's window
you see this problem (see attached screenshot). Also the main window should be
set as inactive, so if the desktop effects are enabled it will be darkened.
