I have tested using the updated KIWI packages. The situation has improved but
the disk size is still not entirely correct.
The disk size should have been 488.7 MB whereas it shows 478 MB (although its
improved from the earlier 60 MB). My image still fails to deploy because it is
488 MB in size.
However, when I manually run the command "blockdev --getsize64 /dev/sda" , it
reports the correct size in Bytes i.e. 512483328 which translates to
488.7421875 MB
I have been using this Thin Client hardware for more than a year and it has
always given me 488.7 MB of usable space. Consequently I have been building a
raw image of size 488 MB.
I see that in the KIWILinuxRC.sh, you have used the following code
haveBytes=`blockdev --getsize64 $rwDevice`
I think we should be using $imageDevice instead of $rwDevice. Or maybe use the
logic used in older version (2.34).
I am attaching the boot.kiwi file for reference.
