http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=523358 Summary: classic KMenu: cannot get rid of "recently installed" entry Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Originated from: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=200742 Such entries like recently used or favourites can be shown or hidden (very good), but I don't see a point that such entry as "recently installed" has to be hardcoded in the menu. It is a bug for several reasons -- user is not an admin, so it is not his/her business to see what was installed, second: on small screen it takes space. Always. Even after 3 months of last install. And besides -- user should be in control. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
