http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=519337
Summary: Should always install netcfg
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: i586
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jengelh@xxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: Beta-Customer
Only a few packages depend on netcfg, such as: telnet, postfix, tftp.
However, useful lists such as /etc/services are usable with about any program
that makes use of, for example, getaddrinfo(3). I think aaa_base should depend
on netcfg. What is your opinion?
