I did some further tests. My Camera is detected as camera and only has the the
option to download photos via digikam. So the eject button is not needed in
this case.
For all USB devices which are detected as StorangeVolume (which have has option
"Open with filemanager") I have an eject button.
Andrea, what actions are accessible for your usb devices from the device
notifier?
