Sorry, can't address this. NVIDIA only provides KMPs for the current update
kernel and compatible ones and for the latest official driver version. If I
recall correctly we had an kABI breakage with a kernel update for 11.1 (by
intention to sync with the SLE11 kernel). So if you need to rely on a kernel
before this kABI breakage, you would need to compile the nvidia kernel module
yourself.
Most likely what you're seing here is a regression in release 185.18.14, which
is available from the NVIDIA repo since a few days now. Downgrading the driver
might
already fix the issue for you. This requires a manual installation of the
driver though.
As a side note. We don't track any NVIDIA driver bugs filed against openSUSE in
Novell's bugzilla. Please complain directly to NVIDIA. Thanks.
