http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=508704 Summary: Yast2 progress bar does not move Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: rutgert@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042700 SUSE/3.0.10-3.1 Firefox/3.0.10 Since I did a clean install of OpenSuse 11.1 on my Dell D820 laptop, Yast2 has not entirely worked. Yast and Zypper work well though. Detailed Problem Description: I am running all the latest patches/packages on OpenSuse 11.1 KDE 4.2. When I install a package, the "Installing Packages..." status bar remains at 0% through the install. I have to assume that the package is installed when the mouse courser changes back to normal from busy, at which point I have to click "Abort" to exit out of the installer. Installed packages work however! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Yast2 in OpenSuse 11.1 KDE 4.2 2.Select package(s) to install 3.Install package(s) Actual Results: The "Installing Packages..." status bar remains at 0% through the install. "Abort" has to be clicked in order to exist out of Yast2. Expected Results: The "Installing Packages..." percentage complete in the status bar should progress as the selected packages are installed. Once package install is complete, one should be able to exit out of Yast2 gracefully without having to click "Abort". -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
