Running zypper dup for the last couple of weeks I am always getting

  WARNING: Tools::GetMultipath: multipath command failed with 256

at the end of the output associated with the kernel package.

This is a notebook without any trace of multipathing being active, and
the dm-multipath kernel module not being loaded:

  # multipath
  May 24 21:52:23 | DM multipath kernel driver not loaded

In such a case we really should be more clever/user-friendly than throw
a warning.
