http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=506724 Summary: the font "Monospace" doesn't support the bold typeface Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: urwald@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042700 SUSE/3.0.10-1.1.1 Firefox/3.0.10 kwrite supports syntax highlighting. However, it doesn't show anything bold since I use openSUSE 11.1 (was working fine in 11.0). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open with the application "kwrite" a file for which syntax highlighting is provided and bold typeface is used (for example a C++ file where you make sure that you have some if-else-statements in the code) Actual Results: The "if" and "else" is not bold. Expected Results: The "if" and "else" should be shown bold. It seems to me that the font "Monospace doesn't support the bold typeface: When I change the default font for fixed width in the KDE control center to "DejaVu Sans Mono", that the syntax highlighting in kwrite works fine, including that "if" and "else" are bold. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
