Looks to me like a bug in the wacom X driver. I have a HP 2710p running with
openSUSE 11.0, where I don't need extra options to get a working/calibrated
tablet. AFAIK the most standard serial wacom tablets shouldn't need any
calibration, otherwise there is a problem in the driver.

Danny is absent for a longer time. Let's do at least a minimalistic config,
which
works at least somewhat. For this only these options need to be added AFAICS.
Option "BottomX" "16520"
Option "BottomY" "26312"
Option "SendCoreEvents" "on"
Option "TopX" "0"
Option "TopY" "0"
