not repos, just _patterns_. We'll keep the rpmmd repos, we'll just remove
patterns. I'd say comment #9 is the way to go.

No problem, but we would need to release an update for 10.3.

why? This is what c#9 says. We would just stop generating patterns.xml.gz for
all 10.3 repos. Nobody probably used them anyway, since there was no tool to
work with them at the time.
