In more detail: We solve missing font problems by identifying equivalent fonts
using fontconfig, instead of never removing fonts from the distro. The
necessary
fallbacks are already present in the fontconfig files in /etc/fonts. Apps
using fontconfig should be able to find an equivalent font.
Also, which apps fail to substitute effectively?
