Hi,

I tried to shut down KDE as usual with "init 3" on tty1 to compile the graphics
driver.
I get the messages:
shutting down kdm done

but KDE is still active. With CTRL-ALT-F7 I can still switch to my KDE session.

Thanks
Karl

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch to tty1, login as root
2. init 3
3. CTRL-ALT-F7
Actual Results:
I get the message that kdm is down, but it is still alive

Expected Results:
all KDE sessions should be down
