hi scott.
sorry but i can't give you the output of the sysinfo: command
cause i haven't got a linux installed yet and i'll not be having time for this
that soon.
but i can do it as soon as there's more time.
i don't have any problems changing bios settings.
i know what they all mean.
but i don't have an am2 board.
it's definitely an intel sockel 775!
asus p5n-d & intel core 2 quad q6600 cpu as i told.
-> 4 cores at 2,4GHz
so i don't have any cool 'n' quiet feature.
but i've activated the thermic control feature for the cpu fan - i guess this
is the equivalent for cool 'n' quiet.
also i don't have intel speedstep activated.
i have an separate asus nvidia videocard. but it's not pci but pcie.
you just asked for pci so i told i don't have any.
and nothing ist overclocked in any way.
and the cpu setting also ist not set on "auto" but "standard".
hope this helps
regards
babak
