WLAN doesn't show up in mn-applet.

"ifconfig wlan0 up" gives:
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Connection timed out

/var/log/messages shows:
iwl3945: Wait for START_ALIVE timeout after 2000ms

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot openSUSE 11.2 Milestone 1 Live CD on a machine equipped with iwl3945
2. Try to use WLAN
Actual Results:  
Does not show WLANs in nm-applet

Expected Results:  
Should show WLANs
