I use KPowersave 0.7.3_svn3167-1.11 on my Acer Travelmate 4000 notebook. 
On system startup, it displays a battery status which seems correct. But on
working with the system, this info isn't refreshed. Neither when I charge the
battery or when I use (and de-charge) it. It always displays the battery status
from the time, the system started up.
The HAL daemon is autamatically started on system boot and runs correctly.
