On behalf of the KOffice userbase I am reporting this bug to SUSE.
I have received various reports form KOffice users over the last 2 years that their tablets don't work in KOffice on OpenSUSE; http://wiki.koffice.org/index.php?title=Krita/Known_problem_with_packages#Su... «SuSE configures the tablet pointing devices with the names mouse[X] to mouse[X + 3], which confuses Krita. Rename the devices to cursor, stylus and eraser in the xorg.conf»
I would guess this is due to suse using a tool to generate the xorg config and it not using the proper wacom-standardized names for tablets.
Now, since X11 doesn't allow Qt to find out something like "Is this device a tablet eraser?" or similar, apps like Gimp force the user to select which device names on his system join up with the actual device.
In Qt the solution is to use the default wacom names, which means no configuration but standardization.
Reproducible: Always
You're mixing up the Identifier in xorg.conf with the TabletType. SaX2 is using the right TabletType (cursor, stylus, eraser, pad, touch). The used Identifier doesn't matter at all.
