The latest version can be made to run on 11.0.
Taking the latest src rpm from Factory (aufs-cvs20090215-1.13.src.rpm) and
modifiying the list of patches so it compiles against 2.6.25.20-0.1-default:
Add patch 0 back in
Add patch 3 back in
Comment out patch 7
Comment out patch 9
However this still results in the same behaviour: kernel BUG at
/usr/src/packages/BUILD/aufs/obj/pae/dinfo.c:264!
It is therefore probable that this bug affects Factory as well.
