Could you please try the wpa_supplicant packages from [1]?

Please clear /var/log/wpa_supplicant, /var/log/messages and
/var/log/NetworkManager before testing (just echo "" > /var/log/... should
suffice). And of course attach the log files here again if you experience any
issues.
