I couldn't reproduce this with KDE 4.2.2.

Which KDE 4 repository?  If KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop, does updating to KDE
4.2.2 solve the problem?

And to confirm - this only happens when you have the Plasma Calendar widget on
the desktop?  

Does it happen if  you click the clock so it shows its calendar (the same
code)?
