The Dom0 logs for all cases are missing (what has Dom0 in its name is simply
the console output of the DomU seen in Dom0, but what I need are Dom0's
/var/log/boot.msg plus the matching /var/log/messages fragments), and there are
also no hypervisor messages at all (stuff in /var/log/xen/ are logs from the
tools). Since you're setting the hypervisor console to vga and com1, I assume
you have another machine (or a terminal) sitting at the other end of the serial
line - what we need is the collection of the output appearing there.
swiotlb=, if you want to give this a try, is a kernel option (not a hypervisor
one).
As pointed out before, pci_devs_to_hide= is meaningless on the kernel command
line (the name is wrong, and pciback is a module), and I think max_loop= is too
(because loop also is a module).
And yes, with 'native kernel' I mean the non-Xen one (i.e. -default).
