https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=487766 Summary: Pidgin doesn't remember passwords Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ruchir.brahmbhatt@ecosmob.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009022800 SUSE/3.0.7-1.1.6 Firefox/3.0.7 I had pidgin setup for google talk & msn accounts with saved passwords which was working fine. After upgrading to gnome 2.26 using opensuse factory repository, when pidgin was started, it asked me to enter password for both of the accounts. I entered password and selected save password checkbox. But when I restarted, it asked again. No matter how many times I try, it just doesn't remember passwords. Reproducible: Always Filing here because of such suggestion from upstream bug report. http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/8744 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
