Hmmmmm, I trust you use the term 'stable' as an affectionate term,
This PC is my Server for everything and despite both physical and logical
boundaries of the /HOME/DATA disk space, I am very loath to change the O/S for
test purposes.
The issue seemed to arise after I copies over a lost+found directory on the
default users home directory by accident and then salvaged the original from
trash.
Thats all I can remember that happened around the same time as I changing a few
users rights and ownership of directories.
I was hopeful for a
" This error response means that you stuffed up doing 'nnnnnn'" and you could
immediately see where the error response came from and its implications - I
really thought this error was related to a hardware issue that has not changed
in 2 years.....?????."
Having used V11 and 11.1, I feel its time for this PC to just be stable and I
will re-load 10.3 and continue to use other test Hardware for bugs.
Its a pity you cannot hide the lost+found directory as its always in the way of
backing up a users whole directory string by copying its root and wayward
files.
