Summary: Konqueror 4.2.1: Underlying tab bleeds through to
surface.
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: PC
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: KDE4 Applications
AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@xxxxxxx
ReportedBy: hacker@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.7)
Gecko/2009022800 SUSE/3.0.7-1.4 Firefox/3.0.7

The lower boundary of the display, instead of just showing the information on
the displayed folder, also shows information bleeding through from the next
underlying tab.

Much more seriously, this bleeding sometimes affects functionality. I've found
the 4.2 version of Konqueror exceedingly slow to move/copy files/folders or
consign them to the waste-bin. On some occasions, movement of files/folders
doesn't, or doesn't seem to have occurred. On one of these, I found that it was
due to a file or folder on the underlying tab having been moved instead.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

"Reproducibility" refers to the whole problem, not the mislaying of data.
"Severity" classification of "major" refers to the mislaying of data, not the
appearance part of the problem which is "minor".

I would have added an attachment but "prt sc" has now stopped working!
