It's very likely an issue with one of your connected/installed devices. You
need to disconnect/disable as many devices as you can, and retry, to find the
one which causes the hanging bootup.
You could start disabling the parallel port in the BIOS, and de-install the acx
driver.
For devices you can not remove or disable, you need to blacklist the modules in
/etc/modprobe.d/ for these devices, so that the modules do not get auto-loaded,
until you found out, which device is causing the trouble.
