This is the only log with indication of the "nvidia" driver being loaded, so I
assume it is the correct one, but it may be from. Right now I have

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6)
Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.6

I have by mistake entered this bug in the general forum:
http://forums.opensuse.org/hardware/409693-hp-pavilion-dv6840el-latest-update-screwed-up-nvidia.html#post1954975

Also, please see my comments as Mar Aberto here:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=181697

Whenever I have the NVIDIA driver installed, the only way I can use the laptop
is with IceWM.
Again, I have OpenSuse 11.1 on an HP Pavilion dv6840el.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install NVIDIA driver from NVIDIA repository.
2. login to KDE 4
Actual Results:
At second login, the mouse pointer is visible, but the screen is like a
hand-quilted blanket, with squares all over the screen that are fragments of
the previously used softwares/windows. It is like a nightmare of bad
memories...
I have to hit the power button in order to log off, and then get in again only
with IceWM (so I can remove the nvidia driver again).

Expected Results:
Before the latest kernel update, the NVIDIA driver was working just fine,
including double monitors through HDMi cable, OpenGL screensavers and games
(mostly), etc. I expected the updated kernel + driver to have performed the
same at least, if not better.

I wanted to add the correct x11 log file, but right now the NVIDIA driver is
not installed, so I'll have to append it later, if it is possible.
