screenshot of vt1 and vt2 with lower case p corrupted

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux) KHTML/3.5.9
(like Gecko) SUSE

when switching for Xwindow to a text console one character is wrongly displayed
on all VTs (1-6) for all occurrences of that character

So it seems the character generator bit map is corrupted
switching again to Xwindow then back to VTs corrects the display

also had a Xserver crash that I didn't report but I have a backtrace in
Xorg.0.log from 23/09/2008 if needed

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. switch from xwindow to vt
2.
3.

one character bitmap in the graphics adapter is modified :
the first time it was a H that had no horizontal bar
the second time it was the 4 which had no base
the third time it was the T which had a hole
this time it is the p which has a hole
so all "H" or all "4" are displayed wrongly
switching to an other vt does not fix the problem
after switching to X and back to vt1-6, the display is corrected
