I´m trying Ubuntu nowadays and i´m surprised how fast searching Synaptic uses. It gives me the relevant results already during writing of name package. I don´t know how it works, it´s like index searching (for example as in Thunderbird), but it´s incredible fast and it speeds up the work with searching and installation of packages. In software management of YaST2, i have to write name, or part of name or whatever and then hit enter. So guys, could you improve searching in software management? Could it be possible to use searching as Synaptic uses? Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.for example, i want to look for all packages mplayer 2.during writing mpl... 3.it would propose all results with mplayer, smplayer, mplayer-plugin etc...(everything packages containing mplayer) Expected Results: Speed up searching and users wouldn't have to hit enter. More comfortable work. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
