Summary: table border gone when pasting data in kmail
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: i686
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: KDE4 Applications
AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@xxxxxxx
ReportedBy: ruchir.brahmbhatt@xxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6)
Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.6
When I paste data from word doc or spreadsheet, some formatting is lost.
Specially border of cells from spreadsheet.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. New mail in kmail.
2. Copy some cells from excel sheet having borders.
3. Paste the data in kmail new mail body.
Actual Results:
Borders are gone from cells and there is no way to set them manually.
Expected Results:
Data should be pasted as is with formatting.
I've faced similar issue in Evolution mail client. But I can format the table
there to add border manually.
