In reply to comment #1:
- The popup which comes at crash-time (and which gave me the stack trace in
attachment 275076 mentioned at top of comment #0) says the crash happens in
KPatience. Also I don't have any other program running where "freecell" could
be expected to be part of a symbol.
- Help => About says "KPatience 2.2.2 (Using KDE 3.5.10 "Release 21.9"
openSUSE)
- The bug entry form says, as the top option in the "Severity" rolldown near
the bottom of the page, "Critical: The software hangs, crashes, or causes you
to lose data." The software crashed. So I set "Severity" to "Critical".
Of course all the above is moot now that the bug has now been declared WONTFIX.

Hm. I don't see KDE4 Patience under "Games => Card games" in the SuSE menu
(SuSE version of the KDE menu, at bottom left, on the kde "Panel") ... let me
see... yes, I guess that's it: "which -a kpat" answers with
/opt/kde3/bin/kpat
/usr/bin/kpat
/usr/bin/X11/kpat
and the first two binaries are different. I suppose /usr/bin/kpat is the KDE4
version? In that case I suppose I could made it available again by means of
pushd /usr/local/bin
ln -sv /usr/bin/kpat kpat4
popd
what do you think? But maybe it wouldn't add it to the SuSE menu? (running the
KDE3 window manager, but with all three of KDE3, KDE4 and Gnome2 installed so
"users" [login names] have a wider choice of window managers).
