Summary: lancelot application menu blank
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: KDE4 Workspace
AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@xxxxxxx
ReportedBy: mg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.6)
Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-1.4 Firefox/3.0.6

When I start up, the Lancelot application menu is blank, though computer,
contacts & documents are fine. If I resize the open (blank) window then
Favorites & Applications menus appear, but clicking on a category in the
Applications list has no effect.

I've tried removing every trace of Lancelot (config files, libraries, icons
..) and re-installing. I've also tried switching desktop themes. Both have no
effect.

I *think* this is only an openSUSE issue, though I found a similar bug report
for Mandriva:
http://www.nabble.com/-Bug-47729--NEW:-Lancelot-widget---blank-application-choices-menu-td21978790.html

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.1/
2. Install kde4-plasma-addons (version 4.2.0-55.12-x86_64)
3. Add Lancelot to panel or to desktop
4. Try to use it
Actual Results:
See details above

Expected Results:
It should have visible menus, scrolling as things are selected. It used to
work, but I can't remember which version that was.
