isnt it possible to release more fixes into the current releases directly via
onlineupdate rather than going for more and more repositories and stuff like
that?
what is the suse/novell policy on this? i am wondering about these things. is
there a possibility to get bugs fixed quicker and directly for the systems
where they are being detected rather than waiting fore many months and needing
a newer opensuse system to get patches again?
during each and every suse release i am getting seemingly more and more
annoyances and bugs that need newer opensuse versions to fix them which then
again will introduce newer and more bugs and annoying things.
maybe its also time to think about longterm support of opensuse releases
similar to ubuntu.
in my opinion this is getting way out of hand.
adding more and more repositories which might introduce their own
incompatibilities and problems isnt really a solution i think.
thanks.
