Let me point out the one thing from Xorg.0.log that astonishes me:
(--) PCI:*(0@5:0:0) unknown vendor (0x10de) unknown chipset (0x0141) rev 162,
Mem @ 0xf0000000/0, 0xe0000000/0, 0xf4000000/0, BIOS @ 0x????????/131072
Shouldn't an X server know the PCI vendor ID of Nvidia? I mean: How many
graphics chip vendors are around?
The other odd thing is this (I doubt that the X server is right):
(WW) NV(0): Bad V_BIOS checksum
