Summary: After resuming from a locked screen the display got
out of place
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: i686
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: GNOME
AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My xorg.conf
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6)
Gecko/2009012700 SUSE/3.0.6-0.1.2 Firefox/3.0.6
I'm using gnome and the nvidia (propri.!) driver package from the nvidia-repo.
After the screensaver was active I got a screen which slides to the right. I
mean a small strip of pixels which should be on the right a displayed on the
left. As expected: a screenshot does NOT show this behavior, so I assume this
is a screensaver or nvidia issue. It looks like in the very beginning, when the
X.conf was not 100% accurate for the monitor used;-)
I'm using a Toshiba Notebook (A100).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. login to gnome and wait
2. Screensaver starts - re-login or touch mouse/keyboard
3. when the screen comes back the diplay is out of place
Actual Results:
The Display is slided to the right, i.e. a small strip from the right is shown
on the left.
Expected Results:
Show a screen where the real and virtual edges are common.
